Wendy Plomp sees her work as illustrations come to life, like a 3D collage.
Her reinterpretation of simply daily materials like wood, metal, cardboard and
recycled fabrics gives an extraordinary spin to ordinary objects.
In “Paper Cave” she uses large sheets of coloured paper to create flexible
forms reminiscent to the organic shapes of a cave. With this experiment she
creates something unexpected which gives an aesthetic experience.
